How To Clean A Burnt Iron Soleplate Using Only Vinegar

The iron can be a real headache if we don’t know how to clean it after every use.
To every one of us has happened, at least once, to dirt/stain his clothes with the iron soleplate, instead buying a new iron or to buy new clothes, you better learn how to clean a dirty and burnt iron soleplate.

1. Vinegar

In a pot, put 1 cup of vinegar. Put the pot on the stove at low heat, to heat a bit the vinegar. Soak a cotton cloth in vinegar and start rubbing gently the iron soleplate until the burnt is gone. If this method fails, then you can add 3 teaspoons of baking soda in vinegar, and stir well until is dissolved. Moisten the cloth in this solution and rub the iron soleplate. This time the burnt stains from the iron soleplate will be removed for sure.
