Suede shoes…every woman loves them. They’re so smooth, elegant…just close to perfection. But, at the same time, they very demanding. They get dirty very quickly and need special care, otherwise you won’t be wearing them anymore, because this smooth leather is prone to staining.
I love shoes, in every shape they come, but suede shoes are my favorites! A few years ago I bought this beautiful electric blue suede shoes, and they still are my favourite! Taking care for this type of shoes is not an easy task, especially when dealing with grease stains. Accidents may happen! But I never thought that it will be so difficult to remove grease stains out suede. Of course, until I found this natural trick that saved my favorite pair of shoes.
Grease stains were hard to clean. But not anymore.
You need:
– vinegar
– eraser
Soak a piece of cloth in vinegar and dab the stained area with great care. Let it dry. After drying, some fine traces will remain on the shoes, but the eraser will wipe them. Remove the eraser scraps left on the shoes, and the stain is gone!
If the grease stains are older, try dish detergent instead of vinegar. Let the shoe dry and use the eraser the same way as the above method. Sometimes it works, but sometimes, it doesn’t. But the grease stain won’t be so highlighted.
