As a woman, I love shoes, in every shape they come, but suede shoes are my favorites! A few years ago I bought this beautiful electric blue suede shoes, and they still are my “masterpiece”! Caring for them is not easy, especially when I went to this wedding and stained my shoe with grease. Accidents may happen! But I never thought that it will be so difficult to remove the stain. Of course, was difficult until I found this natural care tip that saved my favorite pair of suede shoes.

It is true that grease stains are hard to clean, and the ones that got old, it’s basically impossible. But not anymore.

You need:

– vinegar
– eraser

Just soak a piece of cloth in vinegar and dab gently the stained area, then let it dry. After drying, some fine traces will remain on the shoes, but the eraser will wipe them. Blow the eraser scraps on your shoes, and the stain is gone!

If the grease stains are older, try using dish detergent to remove the stain. Let the shoe dry and use the same eraser procedure. Sometimes it works, but sometimes, it doesn’t. Although, the grease stain won’t be so visible anymore.
